The staff was friendly and the presentation of the food was fantastic. However, I wasn't that impressed with the quality of seafood and a friend got sick the next day after having eaten the Wolffish. Paying close to 25+ euros per main would demand a little more in terms of quality. Maybe we were there on a wrong day but we aren't going back in a hurry.Hello sir, We are very sorry for your friend who was sick but we're not sure that it depend of our food and our quality. We are delivred twice per day and the freshness of our product is very very important for us.The next time (we hope!), can you tell us directly your disapointing and we are sure that we could find a solution.Thank you for your adivce.Best regards, Maxime Van Bellingen.

This is a small and wonderful restaurant to which we regularly return. The menu changes with seasons (in the autumn/winter try their amazing game dishes) and the food is very tasty and cooked to perfection. Mr Domingos, who serves the meals, is an expert on drinks and has a great selection of prime wines, liquors (gins particularly) and rare beers. Book and you will not be disappointed! Highly recommended, by far the best restaurant in the area.

We went to this restaurant as a family and after being shown to a table without any lake view at all (only a very few tables look over the lake) we waited for 20 minutes to be given a menu. Eventually having to ask for a menu, we were told quite rudely that we were very impatient and that we should learn how to be more patient in future. This astonishing rudeness and arrogance from the waiters continued throughout the meal and we were made to wait almost an hour for our food. The food order was wrongly delivered, but we were so hungry by then (1 hour 30 minutes from arrival time) that we accepted it. Big mistake, because some of the items wrongly delivered were unpriced on the menu and then we had to accept the "charge of the day" which was astronomical (over 35 euros for a prawn salad). Although the food was good, the service was completely intolerable and spoilt what we thought would be a nice meal out. Needless to say we will never go back there again. Be warned.
