Minado provides an amazing variety of sushi, seafood and shellfish in its buffet restaurant. They have dozens of kinds of sushi rolls, sashimi, yakitori of all kinds (shrimp, squid, teriyaki chicken) as well as roasted and deep fried whole fish like pollock or haddock, a whole Chilean sea bass and an entire array of salads with seaweed, eggplant, asparagus, lettuce and kimchi and mixed salads of all kinds. They also have and entire dumpling area with shrimp, crab, and pork dumplings and a while shellfish area with crab, clams, mussels, shrimp and many other types of cold and warm shellfish dishes. The dessert bar is also pretty good with fruit and jello options and a soft serve ice cream machine with vanilla and chocolate ice cream. If you can't find something you like, you just don't like seafood!Pricing is fixed price all-you-can-eat with lunch at $17.95 Monday-Friday and $21.95 on Sat.-Sun. and holidays.Dinner is $31.95 on Mon.-Fri. and $33.95 on Sat.-Sun. and holidays.Kids are priced by height--half price for 5ft and over, quarter priced for 4 feet or shorter and free for 3 feet and under!Well worth it--everything is very fresh and the place is very clean with friendly and helpful service.Be prepared to arrive early as it gets very crowded at the buffet sometimes.Plan to be there at the opening at 11:45 or noon for lunch and 6PM for dinner service on Mon.-Fri. And by 5PM on Sat.-Sun.They serve lunch until 2:15PM Mon-Fri. and 3PM other days and dinner until 9:15PM Mon.-Thurs. and until 9:30PM on Fri.-Sat. And 9PM on Sunday. Be sure to get there to start eating at least a half hour before closing time.Great place for a large family or group. They also serve drinks including beer, wine and sake.Good place to go before if after shopping at the Natick malls, but be sure to bring an appetite--so many things to choose from.

I chose Nobscot Cafe based on Tripadvisor ratings; I'm glad I did. The Cafe is a lively place, but very informal. I went in via the bar room door, looked into the dining rooms and eventually went up to the bar to ask "do we seat ourself?"; the answer is YES; I chose a table in in the bar room. There were four big TVs one the walls in the bar, three of the four were on a Boston - Seattle ball game, the fourth was on Faux news. The menu is extensive, AND there are a couple of pages and a blackboard of specials. I chose the scallops as an appetizer and a lobster roll as my main course. Both were excellent. The Lobster Roll was offered with fries as an optional extra, I did not choose the fries. The server delivered an order of coconut shrimp as my appetizer, and vanished before I could even react. It took quite a while (5+ minutes) to catch her attention, she turned and handed the order to an adjacent table. The poor guy at that table had been looking longingly at his shrimp the whole time. We (the server & I) reviewed the scallops and she again disappeared.Shortly the scallops and the lobster roll arrived simultaneously. No damage really, as the roll is served cold anyway, but this plate was also piled high with fries. "I won't charge you for them" was not what I wanted to hear, as that many fries were simply in the way.Yes, the food was good. Perhaps the server was new, perhaps the kitchen wasn't paying attention. I'd go back, just to see if the service improves.
