This hidden gem is less than a half-mile off of the interstate, but it's tucked away in a series of small shops reminiscent of neighborhood cottages.I was warmly greeted when I entered and picked the table of my choosing. Their menu is centered around seafood, alligator and other Cajun dishes.I picked their Shrimp basket and was given a choice of sides; fries and cole slaw, or corn and potatoes. The shrimp basket also came with three corn nuggets. I was offered a choice of mild or spicy and chose spicy.This meal did not disappoint. The shrimp were lightly coated and fried perfectly, very moist and tender. The corn and potatoes were what would come out of a crawfish or seafood boil and were both spicy and delicious. The staff were very pleasant and cordial, the food was truly five star, and yes, the dining room is quite Spartan but hey, you come for the food, right?Definitely a Hidden Gem and well worth a visit.

We wanted to find local BBQ and if this is it, Iâd drive on. The woman taking orders on a Saturday for lunch was grouchy and the food was just average. We had the BBQ sandwich combo which was a sandwich, fries and drink for $7.50. The decor is beach signs, everywhere!

If you ever think that you have had good fish wait until you try this mom and pop shop that has been in the family for more than 40 years. This last year the were given the NAACP award for their service to the city they seem to cherish. I think that they might put some kind of drug in their meal, it is that good. If you are ever there then you must find them. Their phone is [--]. You will thank me later.
