Plenty of seafood on the menu to choose as you sit among tired pirate themed atmosphere.Food is typical seafood menu. Surf and turf options along with basic seafood dishes.The main attraction is the salad bar.There are quite a few toppings to see and fish out to put on your plate.Service is friendly and was speedy the Monday night we were there. Not many people were there that night so service was perfect for our larger group.Drinks were ok and double bubble so 2 for the price of one during the 5 o'clock somewhere happy hour timeframe.Salmon was over cooked but did have a great flavor.Bread loaves served with meal. It was OK as well.Nice location near Lakeside Park so nice to enjoy a summer evening very close to Lake Winnebago.

A near perfect dining experience and a very pleasant surprise in a city of generally mediocre restaurants. The soup, a gumbo, was spicy, authentic, and delicious. We split two main courses, sauteed shrimp in bucatini pasta and an 8 ounce tenderloin with bearnaise sauce. The shrimp and pasta were delicious; the tenderloin was cooked to perfection and very tender--a steak on par with a great steakhouse like the Capitol Grille. Some might complain about the price. If you like cheap steak, go to Applebees or Sebastions. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went here on our anniversary for dinner. It was a Thursday and there was only one other couple in the bar. The bartender was awesome!! She was friendly and fun!! We ordered our drinks which were double bubble - nice little surprise too. We ordered the Thai pork egg rolls for an appetizer- delish!!!When we were nearing the end of our last cocktail we were instructed to stand our menu up so the server could come and take our order. We did so and she was right over. Hubs ordered the Blancks special with fried lobster and I ordered the Blancks special with the grilled chicken breast wild rice and asparagus. We headed to the soup and salad bar which was nicely stocked. The soup was very tasty too. Our dinners arrived and wow! The servings are enormous!! Such a deal for the price! We left with lunch for the next day! We thought the food was very good. Not sure about all of the bad reviews. But more, we thought the price was excellent for what you received! The server did her job, took the order and brought out food. She was not friendly like the bartender but she certainly was sufficient. We would definitely go back!
