This is the fourth restaurant for husband and wife team, Ron & Dee Nusser. Ron and Dee opened this Fallbrook location in May 2004, and have been pleasing guests with their fresh take on food and recipes since.
You will love this quaint little restaurant! The outdoor garden is private and charming! Enjoyed the food also - fresh and delicious!

As a restaurant Iâd give this a solid four stars. The menu is good, food was excellent and service was wonderful from Danielle. But we also were getting taken care of for some events over the course of a couple days and the banquet food they provided was not good at all. Also, we finished one event at 8:30 and quite a few of us went into the bar area to have drinks and chat, but the bar shut down at 8:45. That was really weak. There were twenty people wanting to booze it up, with no luck!
Most Popular Diner food in Fallbrook, California, United States
This restaurant used to be called La Caseta which had been opened in Fallbrook for many years. The food was not great but very good. We had not been there in over a year, and were surprised to find out it was now a completely new restaurant. The first thing we noticed was that the A/C was not working while the temperature outside was over 95 degrees. It was very stuffy so we sat in the patio. The only way to describe the food is terrible. I ordered chicken enchiladas with mole. The chicken, tortilla and mole were cold. The chicken tasted like it had just been defrosted. The beans were nasty. My son ordered a chile Colorado burrito. He got a shredded beef burrito instead. Obviously they don't know that chile Colorado is done with chunks of beef. It was totally flavorless. My wife had street tacos. The meat had to be sitting in the back for some time! It really is embarrassing that people do not have pride in making sure that what they serve is the best quality. What I find hard to believe is that some of the reviews state that the food is great?? Do they really know quality Mexican food???What is important to note is that this restaurant specializes in Mariscos (seafood) and we did not try none of those dishes. The owners really need to re-evaluate their cuisine if they intent on surviving the competition.
