Some pubs lean more towards the drinks, some lean more towards the food. Fitzpatrick's has plenty of drinks, but they lean more towards the latter. Some very creative menu choices here, and they also had a nice set price menu for lunch the day we were there. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Halloween decorations are incredible and are, I assume, the reason why it was fully booked on a Sunday afternoon. We found seats at the bar, which was perfectly serviceable.hi jodydavisThank you for taking the time review us here at fitzpatricks bar and restaurant we really appreciate all feedback both negative and positive. we are really glad you enjoyed your visit to us and look forward to seeing you again, from the whole team here at fitzpatricks bar and restauran

My husband came here with a group of work mates. He is Italian and trained as a chef in Italy. The menu was not a true Italian menu as most dishes had cream, there was so many pasta dishes with chicken, and chips came with the pasa and lasagne. These things just would not be on a menu in Italy. The potato salad starter was terrible. A mound of iceberg lettuxe with 3 small potatoes and huge amounts of creamy dressing. The fish of the day, the cod, tasted frozen as it was dry and like rubber.Tiramisu was also terrible. Not like the traditional Italian dessert at all.The one waitress was inattentive, not clearing empty plates for 20minutes as she was talking to some people near the till. Avoid this place at all costs!
Visited the Square Restaurant for the first time and I wasnât disappointed, the food is excellent. There is a great selection on the menu and reasonable prices. It has been a long time since Dundalk had a restaurant that is cooking interesting dishes. Highly recommended!
