Dropped in on the way through the town. As usual the service and food quality was excellent. The medium haddock and chips is a great joice although there are plenty of other really nice items on the menu.Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I have been to Friars Wynd now 5 times and every time I am in Stirling I find myself coming back. It is a small and cozy place with fantastic ambience. The staff is very friendly and they always go out of their way for you.I am a huge coffee lover and their cappuccinos are really amazing! Food as well. I have been here for breakfast, lunch as well as dinner and cakes and their food was always 5*. They are really close to the center as well as the train station. I was not as impressed with the other cafes alongside the main road towards the castle so we actually had breakfast here and then we came back to have lunch. Apart from fantastic wine selection they also do a killer White Russian!
