We were directed here by our hotel, and it was an excellent recommendation. Right on the river, with an exterior table as well as the tables inside. I had the set menu (Euros 29.50) - three good courses, and my wife had the gambas, which she said were super. Children were playing outside, and the atmosphere and the service were relaxed and genial. We fell in (extraordinarily!) with a group of Romanian pilgrims on their way to Lourdes, and exchanged a bottle of wine for a bottle of their home-made slivovitz - it was that sort of place!

Malgré une équipe bien organisée et de bonne humeur la qualité des produits n'est plus ce qu'elle était comparée à l'ouverture de l'établissement. Les frites sont à la limite et idem pour les gaufres. C'est dommage ce sont des spécialités incontournables

We are travelling from Birmingham to Zermatt for a ski holiday. We stayed at an Ibis Hotel in Besançon and chose this restaurant for dinner.We were delighted by the warm welcome, the food was magnificent and the service was bostin!We will be back next weekend on our way home!
