Was a bit surprised when I first went in to see a (live) cat sitting ON one of the empty tables....food hygiene?! No one else seemed to bat an eyelids at this ....Anyway, as evening dining limited in Stanford, decided to try one of the pizzas....Ginormous size, and enjoyable, even if only half was consumed.Noticed a few nights later in the adjacent bar, (which by the way allowed smoking inside), again there were a couple of cats sleeping on sofas and wandering in and out of the bar. Just glad I didnât have any allergies, but some people might....also food was being served there too.Nice bar and restaurant, food and service good, just not keen on sharing this public space with animals.

Nice gardens with great views over the valley; just the right place for lunch.The service was very good and the food was perfectly prepared. It goes without saying that the drinks selection and quality was beyond reproach - they produce their own after all! Great.
