Having moved from the Tampa are in January, GD quickly became one of our favorite hangouts on the weekends or whenever we could think of an excuse to visit (45 times give or take). And while the service and bar staff are unfailingly excellent, the recent hike in menu prices was just too much to shrug off. Prices for many of the items we often enjoyed are now even higher than those in our tourist/resort-type areas such as Clearwater, St. Pete Beach and Tampa!Thankfully there are other options with better food and more reasonable prices within a short jaywalk of GD. So to GillDawg we say, âSit - Stay - Rollover - Play Dead!âWe're sorry you feel that way Cotee69. Actually our pricing is very much in line with the other establishments. We did our homework. We love this restaurant! Went the first time after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted like we were family. The food was cooked to perfection. My husband had a burger and I had a salad with a wonderful house dressing. We went back about two months later and the lady who greeted us remembered us from our first visit and asked why we hadn't been back sooner. Her husband does the cooking and she and her daughter run the dining room. The firecracker shrimp are very good. Call ahead to place your order for prime rib on Friday or you may be out of luck. Having lived her just a year, this is one of our favorite places. We know our meal will be great and we feel like we're with family.

ok little pub food was fair .service was not good at all.outside sitting was not very good this pub is good for a quick drinkWeâre sorry to hear that you a less than great experience at Fitzgeraldâs. We do strive for excellence and it appears that we fell short. Hopefully you will give us another chance!
