Let's start with the positives. Very friendly staff and great service on the day. Good area out the back for kids to play. I ordered a seafood plate for two $50 and the rest of the fam ordered their various dishes. Although the seafood was good quality it was quite a small serving even for one person and it did not include chips or salad. I ended up paying for a bowl of chips and a soft drink which bought my meal to over $60 for one person. Chips aren't that expensive and neither is a little bit of salad. The other meals for the cost...all over $30 were also small. I'd relook at that menu if I were the manager.

We were lucky to get a walk in lunch table on AFL Grand Final Day. This place was absolutely packed with footy followers.Lots of big screens all around the room.Went with a couple of steak sandwiches which were fabulous. Really good quality cut of meat and super tasty chips. Possible the best steak sandwich Iâve ever had.A really good afternoon and highly recommended.

The restaurant in the club house at the 13th Beach Golf Club is improving. I've eaten there several times and I've also avoided eating there after receiving some very ordinary food. While it does not reach culinary heights, it is now possible to get a reasonable meal at a fair price; a noticeable improvement but, subject to demand and pricing, room exists for a more imaginative menu.I like the club house. It is relaxed and friendly with good, efficient staff.
