Moundsville is a city in Marshall County, West Virginia, along the Ohio River. It is part of the Wheeling, West Virginia metropolitan area. The population was 9,318 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Marshall County. The city was named for the nearby ancient Grave Creek Mound, constructed 250 to 100 BC by indigenous people of the Adena culture.

I can't say enough about the Prima Marina, Kudos to Matt, the management staff, wait staff, bartenders, cooks and support staff. Everyone working together is what makes the restaurant a great place! We have yet to have a, less than, perfect visit. Superb food (peel-and-eat shrimp, langostino lobster)! The sunset, looking down the river is nearly unbelievable and they actually let you play the jukebox, which is becoming unheard of due to every bar becoming a "sports bar". The live entertainment. out on the patio, along with the mix of visiting boaters, is enough to make you feel transported to another place. The Prima Marina is definitely a place you don't want to miss!

It'd been quite some time since we'd stopped at The Guest House Restaurant but it was convenient to do so today. We'd forgotten how small their main room was and since the large room was being used by a group, we were lucky to get a table. The waitress was wonderful and our orders (a reuben a piece) came out pretty quick. That's when we found out why the waitress had asked if we were sharing one or wanted one a piece; they were huge. GREAT reuben, but pass on the fries. They were limp even though we'd asked for them to be extra crispy. All said and done, we'll go back for the reuben but next time, we'll share one!

We decided to go out locally on a dinner date. The food was excellent. We had the Angus strip steak and the chicken prepared Parmesan style over pasta. Prices were better than the local chain restaurants. The live acoustic music was a wonderful accompaniment. We will return.
