Nice building but becomes kitschy with the waiters in monk robes. Geared to tourists but with the same menu selection at a higher price. Downstairs bar area is nice though

I meet my old friends in la botana, it was my first time here, I agreed the place is very small and it was quite crowded but the pizza was delicious, the service was a little slow but still very friendly, love the reagge music very cool and happy place.
Normally the cover is fairly expensive to get in, but they have specials put on by the university all the time and is only a couple USD on the special nights. While I was there this was my favorite place to dancing. They pretty much play reggaeton, which is great to dance to. It says that this is a place for families with kids; I couldn't disagree more. It may be different in the daytime, but in my experience, the nightlife consists of short skirts, grinding, and plenty of booze.
