On our way to the Douro Valley my girlfriend and me stopped by in Lousada for a short break and lunch. We found this hidden secret spontaneously and were very surprised in a positive way. Atmosphere and service was amazing and the food was delicious :) When in Lousada or around Porto check out this wonderful place!

I am quite familiar with the area, since 30 years back, I used to spend my vacations at my Grandparents farm, which is near by. So, I was not expecting a venue like this one. Quite sophisticated for the region, very comfortable with a great cocktails menu. The food is very tasty, both the "tapas" and main dishes. The service is just perfect with a pretty young crew, very well educated. The wine service is also very good, great wine glasses and wine temperature right at the point. It would be great to have a more extensive wine menu - perhaps something to be improved. The value for money is just brilliant. We went there for dinner on a Friday evening and the Chef's signature menu included starter, main dish and desert just for less than 20⬠(excluding drinks). Great surprise. We are now frequent customers.

Our group of 8 stumbled upon this newly opened restaurant from a recommendation from our Airbnb host. This place was absolutely fantastic!! A couple things we would highly recommend:Steak tartare - absolutely delicious, as good as, if not better than the ones we had in FranceBacalao appetizer Entrecôte - huge portions and cooked to perfection 2 people from our party ordered the burger because the table next to us recommended it. This was DELICIOUS! Better than the burgers we've had at the gourmet spots across the US and Canada. Would highly recommend this. Our group went back twice in our 5 day stay here in the area. They are very busy so we would recommend making a reservation in advance. Definitely check this place out - you won't regret it.
