Reviews on Pub food in Lausanne, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Lausanne was once an intellectual capital, attracting great thinkers such as Rousseau and Voltaire. Today it is a haven for those who love water skiing, swimming and sailing. The International Olympic Committee is even headquartered here. The town's history is evident, though, in its medieval cathedral, the museums of the Palais de Rumine, and Ouchy, the port where Lord Byron wrote "The Prisoner of Chillon" and the Treaty of Lausanne was ratified. For great views, hike up to the Signal de Sauvabelin.

If you want a quiet drink and something to eat this is not the place to go. It is always busy. For me it is normally the chicken goujons, or a burger. If you are looking to watch sport, if it is a popular event then it will be on here. Great atmosphere, superb terrace over looking the square.

A very humble and cosy venue. The staff is friendly and the service efficient. Once can really tell how fresh and home made the food is. The price varies among the dishes but matches the quality and size of the dishes, which come with a small starter salad. If you want Swiss cuisine to match the current season, go for it... They only cook what is fresh!
