10 minutes wait on a beer to change a keg. Advertised $5 happy hour tap beers but poured IPA and charged $12.No sorry to keep you waiting. Duty Manager Brett clearly doesn't enjoy his job.Try the wine bar across the road with craft beers on tap.

Been here a couple times now. Food is fairly authentic, ie, not europeanised. Always prepared well, fresh, with an acceptable wait time. I'd suggest the platter for two to gain a tasting variety.

Broken bottles and cans on footpath outside of tavern and up street not a good look. Need to clean up your act as letting the whole of Kerikeri town and other businesses down. Bodgy and dodgy looking pub.Hi Rob, we are very disappointed that you found rubbish in the street outside the pub we endeavour to clean the area every morning in spite of the rubbish being products that we don't stock in our pub. Unfortunately some people think tossing rubbish in the street is acceptable, believe me as hands on owner operators we don't. It's unfortunate that you didn't come in and let us know as we would have been out there in a flash to clean up as we pride ourselves on running a friendly, clean local bar. We find it harsh to be described as bodgy and dodgy and we believe the local community would describe us very differently. Next time you are in town please come in and meet us as we think you would walk away with a very different view.Kind regardsNicky & Al Owners - The Homestead Sports Bar & Bistro, Kerikeri
