Just happened to pass through this Bavarian town with a very good friend because I constantly travel, I can honestly say that this is probably in the top 2 of 100 or so restaurants that I have visited this past year. The pork knuckle I had was to put it mildly, simply out of this world good. Came back the following day...the rest of the menu was positively fantastic. The wait staff are very cordial and proficient and Thomas Obst (Owner & Head Chef) sure knows how to treat his customers and cooks sublimely. I hope to return soon...and fully recommend the warm and true Bavarian atmosphere in this establishment which is truly unique and original in its own way.

Wander vom Alpsee aus: erstmal hinauf nach Zaumberg und weiter zur Siedelalpe zur Brotzeit mit einem Esel, drei Schafen und 80 JungrinderInnen zur Sommerzeit auf der Alm: saurer KÃ¤se, ansprechend gemischter Teller und super Weizen plus Kirschkuchen. Der Service ist speditiv und nett! Beim Abstieg Weg 11 bietet sich ein toller Blick auf den Alpsee!

Haben uns von dort den Faschingsumzug angesehen. Ging direkt am Kaffee vorbei. Haben dann den ganzen Nachmittag dort verbracht. Die tÃ¼rkisch stÃ¤mmigen Eirtsleute sind Ã¼beraus nett. KaffespezialitÃ¤ten prima. Im Sommer kann man sehr schÃ¶n drauÃen sitzen. Meine Empfehlung.
