This town is a popular stop over for people driving between Sydney & Adelaide. This is a good quality dining option.
Having placed positive reviews previously I am disappointed to put this one up, however the service was SO bad we will never return. We often break our journey to eat here and this trip was no different so we thought. We ordered, nothing was said around wait times, we did not expect fast service either. After one and a half hours our schnitzel has still not arrived and we had watched 18 other dinners come in after us and receive their meals. As we still had 2 hours to travel I went up to the counter and said we could not wait any longer and politely asked for a refund. Instead of an apology and arranging for our meal to be done a women emery from the behind the kitchen and just started attacking me, she raised her voice, would not allow me to speak and went on and on about âyou people who are impatientâ how she is sick of all of you and the tirade went on. It became clear this must be an ongoing issue at this place. Pretty simple thing to address really, serve customers in order and if you forget or overlook and order ...apologise. She also pointed me to a sign on the counter, which I had not seen, which covered this â impatientâ accusation. Impatient we were not, we waited for one and a half hours and watched 18 others on various tables get their meals, many of the same thing. In addition was polite and was just attacked. This person should have no contact with customers, ever. We wont be back and will spread the word.

What a great little find. Not much seating and the room is awkward shaped. If you want a drink you have to go outside to get to the bar. However...The food was delicious and the room itself very lively. We had the calamari and the grilled fish. Both dishes cooked very well and very good portions. The only downfall was the salad was very very small and most of it was onion.Would I eat here again? Yes!
