Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Frederiksberg. Frederiksberg is sort of a city within a city—though completely surrounded by Copenhagen, it’s technically its own municipality. It’s teeming with gourmet specialty shops, upscale shopping and charming cafés. But it’s also steeped in history and culture. An enormous park features romantic gardens, a Chinese pavilion, Greek-style temple and labyrinth. Take tour of the masterful baroque Frederiksberg Palace and enjoy the delicate exhibits of the Museum of Modern Glass Art.

Sweet cafe... nice glasses of pinot and two pizzas worked a treat. One mushroom and ham, and one goat cheese, apples and walnuts, both with fresh arugula to top. Thin crust, light enough dinner that we had desserts, lemon tart and a rhubarb pastry to die for. All the TripAdvisor recommendations were spot on!!! Nice friendly service, too, thanks! (Ah, one note... perhaps people with mobility problems might have difficulty handling the stairs.)

Showroom for the world renowned craft beer brewery - Mikkeller. Beers on tap and Bottles/Cans.
Down a little side street in the residential part of the Indre Copenhagen lies Mikkeller Bar, the busiest place in the neighbourhood on a weekday summer eve. There are shared picnic benchs and a few chairs outside. They do have food but we came for the beer. In addtion to the standard varieties and fruit beers they also have new varieries like Beet but my favoruite was the Carrot Beer. A whopping 7.7% it is wisely served in a 1/2 glass. Well worth a taste and a visit.
