The Town of Carbondale is a Home Rule Municipality in Garfield County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 6427 at the 2010 United States Census. The town is located in the Roaring Fork Valley, downstream from Aspen and upstream from the mouth of the Roaring Fork River at Glenwood Springs. The town proper sits on the south bank of the river, at the confluence of the Crystal River. Carbondale's horizon is dominated by the 12,953 ft (3,952 m) tall Mount Sopris several miles to the south of town.

We were passing through here on our way to the Ouray area and decided to stop for lunch - pulled up some restaurant reviews (got to love smart phones) and chose this place. It seemed like mostly locals here which is usually a good sign. We had a very good lunch on the outdoor patio - food was delicious and came to us very quickly, great service also. They have a great menu with some eclectic choices - really enjoyed it.

Stopped by for lunch and immediately liked the place because it had the same grainy, malty smell my kitchen takes on when I brew a batch of beer. They had a limited selection of beers, but the four of us each tried a different pint and thought they were great. I also liked the smashed chicken tacos. This was a surprisingly good find in Carbondale. Check it out.
