The latte caramel is very good, they have delicious fresh pies and the place is very cosy and relaxed. The staff is also very friendly!

The Bergen op Zoom Boulevard overlooks the easternmost part of the East Scheldt estuary. No true beach here as the water you see is fresh water, not salt water. No tide here, but still a nice "lake" for windsurfing, swimming and the occasional small boat. From the Strandhuys one has a nice view on a beautiful summer's day. Strandhuys is one of only 3 restaurants on this Boulevard, the others being a Turkish Kebab place and a McDonald's. Strandhuys (House on the Beach) offers a vast range of dishes for lunch or even dinner. Good quality, a good choice of drinks, beers, wines. Helpful staff and rapid service. A bit more care should be given however to keeping the pavement of the outside tables and chairs clean. Sweeping more than once a day is necessary because of the wind.
