It is part of the District of Braintree and is twinned with the town of Waldbröl, Germany. Witham stands between the city of Chelmsford (8 miles to the south-west) and the town of Colchester (13 miles to the north-east), on the Roman road between the two. The River Brain runs through the town and joins the River Blackwater just outside.

Ordered on line, hour later no sign of pizza. Called to ask about delivery and load of lies and then staff member starts shouting at my wife âdo you want the order or whatâ I took the phone told him to sort his attitude and tell the truth.Order finally arrived, items missing and burnt. So staff lie, are abusive to women and canât get an order together.I wonât be ordering again and the company needs to sort out this franchise. Itâs a mess

We visited as we had some Tesco vouchers to use, this particular Prezzo seems to have a better feel than a few we have been in and the staff were particularly accommodating. I had the Calamari, which although not the prettiest looking dish, it was enjoyable. We both ordered a pizza and it was lovely and had a nice thin base. I'm not 100% convinced it's the best Italian in the area, but we did have a lovely meal in a nice surrounding.
