It is about one hundred sixty miles northwest of the Minneapolis – Saint Paul metro area. The population was 4,088 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Wadena County.

Unfortunately this was a horrible night. 50% of the tables were dirty, pizza buffet was literally empty, salad bar was in dire need of attention. The employees were running in many different directions trying to fill take out orders as well as keep the buffet stocked. This place in is need of a manager with restaurant experience. Kudos to the teens trying to run the place.

Was out and about shopping with my Mom and daughter and we decided to stop in at Larry's Pizza for lunch. Is a nice family restaurant. Is very clean, nicely decorated kinda in a Farmhouse Chic meets Coffee shop type of decor. They are a pretty good value you can get a nice meal with quite a bit of food for lunch for around $6 to 8 dollars. They have your traditional Pizza items or they have burgers or panini sandwiches or soups or salads but a pretty decent sized menu. They also have certain nights where kids can eat cheaper and they have a regular kids menu as well. They have offers where you can get a cup of coffee free if you order a dessert so that is nice if just wanting to stop in for a snack. The service was top notch one of the better places to get really good service in a smaller town. They have a room off of their normal dining area with additional seating so it would work good for business meetings or womens parties or stuff of that nature. It was also fairly quiet when we went so was good place to hold a conversation. Doesn't have a designated type parking lot is just on the street parking but just around the corner from it is a larger parking lot with quite a bit of space you can park your car. Is a really nice sit down type place to enjoy with family or friends. Food quality was warm and portions were good sized. I rated it 4 stars because some in our party thought food quality was excellent and some thought it was about average for a sit down place. Overall would stop by again though is a nice choice if traveling thru wadena.

We have a large family that has healthy appetites. They always have specials which helps keep the cost down. We usually do carry out and it's always fresh and hot...and done when they say it will be.
