Went along tonight swayed by glowing reviews on TA. Seated in quite lovely surroundings, albeit a little stiff and contrived to what would normally suit us. Given menus promptly and our ordered bottle of sparkling water. Considered our options, keen to order cocktails, but no service for such a long time that we reconsidered cocktails and settled on a bottle of wine, but again, no service- waited, waited, looked longingly - then called it quits, which is hard to do when you feel compelled to order and are keen to do so, but honestly how long do you wait before you say âenough is enoughâ. Had pizza here and I think Iâll come back later this week too cause it was amazing. (I had the BBQ chicken pizza)Staff is friendly and professional, everything looks really clean and neat and the location is great (real close to main road Ubud). A few years ago I tried to have dinner at Il Giardino in Ubud but it was closed. On our last trip, I reserved in advance. Let me tell you, this place is GREAT! The setting is quiet and in a beautiful garden with a pond. The staff is very good as well. The menu is deep with all the Italian classics you crave! Early in our dinner, we heard sounds near our table only to find 3 ducks walking by. They have the run of the pace and are very friendly. I LOVE this place and would put it high on my Ubud list!
