Salado (/səˈleɪdoʊ/ sə-LAY-doh) is a village in Bell County, Texas, United States. Salado was first incorporated in 1867 for the sole purpose of building a bridge across Salado Creek. In 2000, the citizens of Salado voted in favor of reincorporation, before which it was a census-designated place. The population of the village was 2,126 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.

We are a full line Pizzeria specializing in Gourmet New York style pizza, pastas,and subs. We take pride in using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Along with Italian dishes we also offer delicious wings, a full salad bar, wine and Ice Cold Beer.

If you visit this place thinking your going to have traditional New York pizza your fooling yourself. Visited it with family during the lunch hour. Large impressive menu. The young man at the counter taking the orders looked like he could give a you know what being there. Ordered a small pie. It was brought out and looked like a frozen pizza crust. It was not a hand tossed New York pizza. If you are sensitive to salt, avoid. Salad bar was clean but not expansive. Our pizzas are not the big, thin, foldable New York style pizzas that Pizza Hut made famous a few years back, but they are hand tossed with a more traditional spicier New York style sauce made in house dailey, and we have peoplpe in all the time telling us "it's the best they've had since they left the city!". I understand thay people have different tastes, I'm sorry it's not to yours. Thanks for stopping in.

Barrow's Brewery has a pizza food truck on site with very thin crust an minimal toppings. We tried 3 different pies and they were OK. Very little cheese, almost no sauce and very few peppers, olives, or whatever.

a culinary puzzle ... address appears to be south of Salado in the Praire Dell community ... but abandoned building there, no cars and no food but location has great view of I-35, the staff are out of this world!!!
