When we visited Hogstone's Wood Oven we were expecting a variety or pizzas since its a wood oven restaurant. We tried to find a menu before going but could not fine one online. When we got there we were given a small menu with only a few choices as they apparently change there menu weekly. We were not aware that they only had vegetarian options. The plates are small and are really more like appetizers. This place definitely did not feel kid friendly, we had our 9 month old with us and I felt very out of place. Maybe if we had be seated outside it would have been better. I would not recommend this place if you are after good pizza. The pizza was very bland and pretty much was all sauce and no cheese. We were not pleased with this restaurant.

When you just have to have pizza, you can count on Portofino's to deliver, I mean you pick up. Every Portofino pie we've had has been delicous. We're happy you're here on beautiful Orcas Island. Thank you.

I cannot put into words how much our visit to this little restaurant made to us! The pizza was great and hit the spot, but what we needed more than nourishment was a huge pick me up and we got it. A series of failed travel plans landed us here. We were trying to turn around our vacation and the owner did just that. The owners were just rays of light. Thank you, and I say to you, if you are considering going to one place on the island, make sure it is here!!!
