We had the most delicious pizza here, and the couple that own it came by our table and visited with us. The restaurant is in a beautiful historic building with a gorgeous courtyard.

Despite the fact that this restaurant offers more than pizza, we came over here to celebrate the birthday of Veronica, because se adores the pizza over here.The welcoming is as always very friendly, the service is excellent and the pizza was delicious .( even my granddaughter of 9 month loved it )

Acanto is located in a narrow street of the lovely historical centre of Freistadt and may attract uncautious tourists - as we were - because of its mix of ultra-modern style and underground music cave, but in five minutes one will realize he is wrong.An immense cloud of cigarettes smoke - all right, we know that Austria is miles away from civil rules to protect citizens' health in the pubs, but what's too much is actually too much! - will submerge you. Loud ordinary music will make every conversation difficult, but it's the poor quality of the drinks that will make you run out disgusted from the bar. Cocktails are water and ice poured with two millimeters or less of the ingredients, and prices are high. Forget it.
