We arrived very close to closing and the fellow that waited on us was so nice. He took our order and the pizzas came quickly and cooked perfectly with lots of wonderful toppings.

I reviewed SkyKing Pizza 3 years ago and it has slipped a little since. Being an Italian Citizen (Naples) it is very very tough to find "real pizza" in Middle TN or even the south. Skyking and Desano's I felt were the only two that were close. I ventured out and tried the meatballs.. Something I never do outside of my home or families. The meatballs were not good at all but obviously not their strength and my mistake. (not sure on where they got the recipe..but...Never mind:). The pizza ingredients I know are very good and can taste them. The pizza which I asked to be cooked extra well was still white and doughy on the bottom and undercooked. My friend asked for a vegetarian pizza and it came out gluten but they took care of this mistake and quickly.The service was friendly as the last time but the pizza was just a little off. I am not sure if the 35 Minute drive is worth it next time. Overall still a good place for a better pizza here in Middle TN.
