This place was recommended by our hostel as having authentic Tico food. We enjoyed our lunch of rice and beans. This restaurantattracts the locals more than tourists.

We stumbled into this restaurant by chance and the Peruvian-Chinese mix sounded interesting. We were greeted with a lot of enthusiasm by one of the waiters and then again by the manager. It was done in way they think U.S. visitors must appreciate, but for my taste way too much. I appreciate a little attentation, however the waiter's fake grin and constant interventions were rather annoying. I really liked the good vegetarian choice on the menu. The food was quite okay, a bit pricey though, however nothing special. The thing that saves this review was the Pisco Sour which was really good.
