we visited the Britannia restaurant for a mothers day meal, and we weren't disappointed. It Is run by 3 ex-Gurkha's who are all very friendlyThey serve up a fix menu, which consists of:- poppadom, then a starter of Bombay potato's with a samosa, spring role or Bhaji. The main course consists on a Chicken curry, Vegetable curry, another meat curry (we had Goat) lentil Dhal, rice and Naan bread. If you finish any of these they are quite happy to supply more (all in the price), then there is a desert. This is great value for money and the food is wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

My Dad had been few times to restaurant and had wanted to take me and the family there. All the curries were disappointment, four each ordered some thing different, but three were basically same sauce with different items added. Fish dish was like plastic, lamb was boild separate and had no flavour, another dish bitter like coriander stems.Only thing I ate was naan bread and king prawn starter, which was actually good. The rest of meal was complete let down. My father was upset he'd suggested it which was a shame.
