Visited here last Sunday for lunch with family (do book - they get busy). Excellent food, smart surroundings decorated in North African fashion. Service friendly and very efficient. We chose the 'Mosaique' Couscous at just under 20 euros a head and were glad we didn't have a starter - portion sizes are generous and refills of couscous, semolina (& sides of raisins & chickpeas) were brought promptly when we requested it. We will certainly return when next in the area!

Our first experience of Moroccan food and we were captivated. Although the downstairs of this quaint, authentic restaurant was looking a little tired on the grey, foggy, January lunchtime of our visit, the food was colourful, fragrant and tasty. Genuinely a feast for the senses. With father as proud host, one daughter on reception, mother cooking and a son waiting on tables, this was very much a family affair and we felt welcomed as guests. The rooms upstairs were colourful decorated with Moroccan artefacts with one being draped and.lined like a desert tent or pavilion. Charmingly done. The wine ( we chose a spicey Moroccan vintage) was extremely pleasant and complemented our feast of charcoal grilled lamb and gambetta kebabs perfectly. We shall return.

Located near the city center, this restaurant is an oasis of calm and sweetness. The decor is very beautiful, with the colors and warm mosaics of Morocco. All in all, it feels like a traditional riad. The host who welcomes us is adorable and his smile mak
Had just arrived in Orleans after a day's driving and wanted somewhere within walking distance of our B&B. Went here on recommendation of our host who knew the chef. He said that the restaurant was more traditional than some restaurants in Morocco. However we were very disappointed. We had a cool reception and there were hardly any other diners and the place lacked atmosphere. Poor starters but reasonable mains (we had the tagines). The service was perfunctory and the cost (Euros 59 for two courses and half a bottle of wine) represented very poor value for money.
