We were looking for a place to get lunch in the Riviera after a meeting, and we happened upon Turquoise. What a delightful surprise! We were both on a Paleo diet, and we easily found salads that were excellent. My husband had the spinach salad, and I had the Greek salad. We both ordered salmon to go with our salads. The dressings on both salads were really delicious. I mean really. And our salmons were cooked to perfection, really nicely browned and tender inside. It was just a fantastic lunch. We will definitely go again.

Fanoos Grill

A small neighborhood grill with exceptional persian food that is great to have. The menu is exceptional giving you a variety to choose from including extremely healthy choices. Portions are generous and all inclusive, meaning that the dishes include a salad with an excellent dressing, rice, and the main dish. Prices are very reasonable.Service in the restaurant is very warm and friendly and take out is timely so that you do not have to wait for pick up.I stingily recommend the place if you are not in the mood for a fancy place yet you want a good meal, with good service, at a very reasonable price

Aristo Cafe

Aristo Café is my new favorite local Mediterranean restaurant. I've had lunch there twice in the last two weeks. The first time I tried their falafel and was surprised to find that it was actually bright green inside, as opposed to the usual brownish color, because it was made with FRESH garbanzo beans. What a night-and-day difference this made. I've never had falafel this delicious before -- not even in Israel where it is the national lunch favorite.Today I had a Chicken Kabob Plate and it was also terrific. It was one of the lunch special plates and for under ten bucks it included an amazing amount of food: pita and hummus, salad, rice, two large chicken kabobs, a wedge of corn on the cob, and a couple of sauces, including a very tasty chicken sauce. Wowee!!! I do not think I qualify as a "foodie," but I would guess that foodies would like this place because the food is truly very fresh, artfully presented, and delicious. It has a homemade quality to it as well. The service was very gracious during both visits, with a very attentive waitress and concerned manager who obviously takes pride in this gem of a place. This is a small restaurant where they are concerned that you have a great meal and dining experience. Due to a small inconvenience -- the management had us move to a smaller table -- we were rewarded with a lot of extra bread, some watermelon, and the best baklava I've ever tasted. Above and beyond service. The only slight disappointment is that the restaurant is on the small side and a tad noisy -- the music is a bit loud and there are no textiles on the floor or windows to soften the conversation level. They were willing to turn the music down, so that helped some. Other than the noise level, I am truly delighted with this café and am looking forward to going back soon.
