After 10 days in France on holiday, we thought we'd have a change from traditional cuisine, and thought we'd try this place which specializes in Middle East & Moroccan food. We didn't book, and I think we were lucky to get a table, because shortly after we arrived, people were queuing which to me is a sign of a good restaurant. The service was just a little bit slow, but considering how busy they were, this was fine. We shared a starter - a "brick" which was savoury and spicy, then had a tagine each. Delicious, and large quantities. Glad we didn't have a starter each. Also had a nice bottle of Tunisian red wine, which is a first for me. The place is also stunning value for money.

This restaurant is located on the West side of Rue Geuymard, running North-West from the Vieux Port's Northern corner in La Ciotat. As a pedestrian street it is not easy to find and there is no parking nearby. As for all successful "Indian Restaurants" the dishes have been modified to suit the local palate. This means more cheese and less spice in Provence. The restaurant is not cheap, but has modern decor and good quality food. There is a surprisingly extensive wine list.

As a spicy-food lovers (I love Indonesian/Thai/Malay/Indian/Middle-Eastern food), the things I really like the most is the taste of the meat (entrecôte) and the homemade chili sauce as well. It suits my tongue!
