Reviews on Middle Eastern food in Dakar, Dakar Region, Senegal. At the westernmost point of the African continent, Dakar stands as a multicultural, diverse city full of vibrant arts and traditions. Residents from various ethnic groups present assorted crafts, foods, jewelry, fabrics and wood and metal goods at bustling markets such as Marche Sandaga or Marche HLM. The city is home to museums and mosques, cliff walks and beaches, and makes a convenient jumping point for excursions to any of Senegal's national parks and nature reserves.

I love moroccan food and when I came across this restaurant, I took my colleagues over to this place at he first chance we got and we were not disappointed one bit. A couple of us were vegetarians and in the menu, there was only one vegetarian offering- Couscous Vegetarian and they decided to order that and the other 3 ordered Lamb and fig tajine and Lamb and vegetable Tajine. We got Vegetable Ratatouille as the starters and it was so good that we asked for more of that. The lady who owned the place also dropped by at our table to check if everything was ok and when we informed her that two in our group were vegetarians, she enquired if we had ordered Vegetable Tajine. We hadn't since it was not on the menu and she said she can cancel one couscous vegetarian and replace that with veg. tajine. Also, she ordered for some cheese stuffed samosas for us - on the house ! The food arrived and we really had a treat. The lamb in the tajine was so well done that it was falling off the fork when dug in. This surely is the place not to be missed and is also good for vegetarians. My vegetarian colleagues also enjoyed their meal very much and vowed to return when they are here next. The service was impeccable too.

This place offers variety of kebabs and Lebanese-style sandwiches. It is one of the few places I have found in Dakar that offer a decent meal in a reasonable price. Most customers order food for takeaway but there are some non-fancy seats there as well (not a perfect place for a romantic meal :D)One can also get special Lebanese sweets and bread there. Don't get surprised if they tell you that they can't find the menu and ask you to order what you see! Only once I was lucky enough to see the actual menu and I am sharing the menu photos here.

I visited My Way for the fourth time this week. Previously I'd dined with my wife, work colleagues, or friends, and this time I was solo. I enjoyed the warm Sojok sausage, the Spicy Hommos, and the lovely service. I'd recommend it.
