We didn't want to get back on the highway and drive anymore in the rain and fog. This was directly next to the Ark Encounter. They had a huge menu and the food and was all prepared fresh. I had a chicken/shrimp with carmelized onions, refried beans, adobo rice. It was so good and I had enough for a 2nd meal. They bring out colored tortilla chips and a great salsa and a ranch-type dipper. Husband had a combo plate with fajitas and a mexican steak with the same side. I'd happily eat there again. It was delightful. Inside is decorated beautifully and the service was great and speedy. What a pleasant surprise.

This place was an outright disappointment. Our family LOVES Mexican; we eat it weekly at least. Unfortunately, because we were hungry, this is easily our worst Mexican restaurant experience of the last year or more— both the food and service. Our dinner consisted of: burnt chips, weak drinks, inattentive servers, and mediocre entrees. The quesadilla was great. But honestly that’s the only win of the night. We would never consider a return visit.

We both had excellent real Mexican Meals served to us. It was so good at our first dinner here that we came back again the next day for another dinner. We were not disappointed with our four meals. The server was informative, helpful, courteous and explained in detail the authenticity of each of the meals we were served. It gets out highest marks for quality of food and taste. Outstanding discovery in a small town. Pull of the highway and stop here to eat.
