We are situated at bridge block only mexican restaurant in town .
Probably the best meals in wanganui. There is very good variety on the menu, entrees, mains and desserts. Mild and extremely tasty, even extra hot food. The service is particularly friendly and pleasant. The whole restaurant is perfectly laid out and welcoming. We recommend the bomber chicken as a main, but whatever you choose from this menu you will be pleased.
Where to eat Asian food in Whanganui: The Best Restaurants and Bars
A new Mexican restaurant for Whanganui with a small but very adequate menu. Our group between us tried a variety of their choices and none of us were disappointed. With my Fajita I had a choice of chicken or steak, I chose steak, it was delicious, well filled and the meat was tender. There is a recycling depot for disposal of the cardboard packages that the food comes out in. The Juices are superb. They do not appear to serve tea or coffee. Nothing plastic in sight. Staff could not be more helpful and happy.

The Hidden Grove is a great little cafe located on Wilson st. in Wanganui. Our little slice of peaceful solace, complete with a beautiful garden dining area is well known locally as a great place to go for lunch. With great service and competitive prices
