It is also the southernmost city in Iowa. The population was 10,780 at the 2010 census. The city is named after the Sauk chief Keokuk, who is thought to be buried in Rand Park. It is located in the extreme southeast corner of Iowa where the Des Moines River meets with the Mississippi. It is located at the junction of U.S. Routes 61, 136 and 218. Just across the rivers are the towns of Hamilton and Warsaw, Illinois, and Alexandria, Missouri.

This was a very pleasant surprise. Wife had her usual ground beef taco salad, more meat than she could eat. I had the combination poblano, taco, beans and rice plate. Everything was excellent, very tasty and good portions. Service was good and the place was squeaky clean. Would highly recommend.
That sums it up...average service, average food, and below average presentation. I'm glad the space is occupied, but I don't think I would go back. Odd..we have had take out from there before and it was okay....may have been an off night

Close to the motel. Had plain taco's that were just that. It was too late for Pizza Hut. Wanted to go there, still just a walk away.
