We love this place so much we eat here about once a week. My daughter in law has Celiac disease and can always find good choices on most Mexican menus. This place has never disappointed us. Great staff...great food...always clean.

The last few times we have been here it was horrible. The place was dirty...the staff was rude...the food made everyone sick. I don't visit here any more and it's the only fast food taco joint in town. If we want mexican food, we choose a real mexican restaurant...this place is absolutely terrible. It was fine when it first opened but over the years it has had poor management and poor staff and the quality has really gone down hill.

We are new to Jackson, so every time someone comes to our door we ask for restaurant recommendations. This one came from a contractor, and we feel pretty good about it.My main question for the universe is "What is WITH tacos in cold raw tortillas!?!?" Why?! Why?! I am not yearning for Old El Paso pre cooked shells, just go ahead and throw the cold raw ones into some hot grease!I grew up in California in the 60's, when food was actually cooked to order, and Mexican food was was king. Shredded beef loaded into a homemade corn tortilla and then fried crisp. Sheer heaven! I ordered a crisp taco, but got a raw tortilla, and while the filling was tasty, it was in just a flabby blob of dough.WHY!?However, my combination plate came with a flauta. While not rolled into the traditional flute shape, there was a gob of delicious shredded beef kind of folded into a triangular shape and thrown into hot grease! Wonderful! Very similar to the "sheer heaven" I mentioned earlier in my sermon. Just yum.The chile relleno would have been so good if it hadn't been sitting around for who knows how long. Whatever the minuscule amount of white goo which was the filling, turned to a watery mess on the plate. It was clear someone knew the basics, but failed in the execution by letting it sit around and go flat and pointless. However, the green chile sauce was really good. The sausage fried potatoes would have been fabulous if they were fresh. Their version of a flauta will stay in my memory and draw me back. I think if I keep my wits about me I can cobble together a decent meal here.Service was brisk and impersonal, but that's ok. Nobody got hurt.
