I have been to El Jimador in Hot Springs Village on several occasions when I go to visit my mother. I always look forward to going there. The food is great and always very fresh. The prices are reasonable. It is a popular place and often very busy. The service is generally good but can be slower when busy. A nice touch for me is the Dos Equis served in an ice cold mug with a lime. My mother no longer lives in Hot Springs Village and I am really going to miss El Jimador. Thanks for the great Mexican food over the years.

We had the lunch chicken fajitas. Quantity was more than adequate, though we did not take home extras. There should be more salad with the entree but itâs still a good choice. The platters are well presented and the flavors are pleasant. Chips are fresh, made in house and delicious. All in all, a good choice.

This is your run of the mill mexican place. I find it funny that the locals think this place is the best out of the three Mexican food joints in town. They are all the same food wise with loc quality but yet tasty mexican eats. I'd eat here again but nothing to rave about.
