El Agave

I have been to El Agave countless times. The atmosphere is decorated colorfully and "Mexican" themed. We've never had to wait for a table. The service is quick. The menu has many different options and there are many flavors of margaritas (blended and on the rocks) to pick from. Chips and salsa are free!

It was almost dinnertime, and our concert time was too close to return to Kearney, so we asked a few locals for a recommendation. We walked into an empty place (pre-dinner lull, no doubt), and only saw the woman who took our order, and heard someone else back in the kitchen. Waiting for our usuals (enchiladas and rice), we took in the decoration and paintings of this very nice Mexican restaurant. And as foretold to us, the food was delicious and we left feeling very stuffed!

We love the taco burgers here. We visited recently and were told they are getting rid of the taco burger. Sad to hear. The food here was good and the service was even better. Great humor and friendly! I'd definitely go back!
