Stopped here to have lunch (and a cold beer if I'm not lying, possibly 2) and sat at the counter overlooking the street. Had 3 chicken soft tacos and they were great.And the cold beer(s)... refreshing. The tacos were fresh and filling. The staff were very friendly. So stop, have a seat, order a cold beer, and do some people watching, you can't go wrong.

Cozy(small) spot where you can sit at the counter and watch the kitchen prep all your yummy tacos. We got taco fries, fish and pork tacos. The fries were incredible, highly recommend. Both tacos were also very good. This is a high standard of Mexican food with thoughtful flavours. Only minus is there's a limited bar, but a few bintangs go perfectly with these tacos so not a deal breaker.So glad you enjoyed our tacos & fries! We're actually in the process of expanding our bar - watch this space!Hope to see you again soon!

We came to El Mexicano after seeing a recommendation on Ubudhood (Instagram account) we decided to visit to have a break from all the amazing traditional Balinese food. We had a tostados, tacos, enchiladas and quesadilla between 2 of us along with some cocktails. For dessert we had chocolate cake and churros. All meals were a great protion size, not too much and not a pathetic and small portion either.All food was flavoursome and had great variety. They also do happy hour from 4pm- 7pm on margaritas.
