One of the great neighborhood bars of Northern Michigan. Still the same delicious food and friendly service as when I first started visiting 20 years ago. Frankfort, MI has changed a bit since the rest of the planet discovered Sleeping Bear as one of the best places on earth, especially in the Fall. But Villa Marine is still open all 4 seasons including during the heart of winter. Great chicken wings (the best in NW MI), great pizza, good beer selection.

As I said, great fish tacos, nice people working there and really good value. Haven't had anything else there! Just FISH TACOS for our family! ha! Free parking on the street, located just south of Frankfort in Elberta, MI. Variety of Mexican cuisine, minimal on-site seating. We order ahead then go and pick up. They are always gracious and efficient there. Cool T-shirts, ha!

Absolutely a 'Must Try' kind of place.Busy, but friendly staff eager to seat and then serve you.Our party of 6 ordered up different menu items and were completely satisfied with the varied offerings.Local craft brews were available as well as the standard bottled beverages. A return trip to The Roadhouse Mexican Grill & Bar is now necessary to sample other menu offerings.
