Garcias gets a 5 star on this hot summer day. A mucho grande is perfect for cooling off. Don't plan on driving anywhere after drinking one. Probably won't make it far. We dropped by this evening and not knowing how mucho they were, tried to order one each. We were advised to share and get a second one after. Good thing or Uber would have had a nice fare to the valley. It was very refreshing and we'll definitely be back this summer. The food was good and service excellent

Parking here at Chepo's Mexican Restaurant, located off Coronado St at 11535 Market St, Eagle River, Alaska, was more-than-ample on a busy Friday evening. The interior ambiance of Chepo's is very pleasant, especially if you sit out in the Glass Enclosed Atrium seating area. Our server and her service was outstanding on a busy Friday evening. The corn chips and salsa were great. The hot salsa was HOT, like we like. The mild salsa was mild. Our food (we ordered the Super Nachos) looked great. So too did other plates we noticed on adjoining tables. However, because the actual taste of our Nachos left more-than-a-lot to be desired, I have to rate Chepo's food as average.

Wait staff was outstanding. The food was average at best but you get plenty of it. My companion seemed to like the chicken dish alright but I can't recommend the beef.
