It is part of the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city occupies the southern part of Anna Maria Island and is one of three municipalities on the island. The others are Holmes Beach in the center and Anna Maria in the north.

Upon a local recommendation we stopped by the Wicked Cantina during a recent visit to the beach. The menu offers plenty of classic Mexican dishes but also includes some unique options. The Seafood Enchiladas came highly recommended and were amazing. The chips and salsa were amazing and even better with their queso. We will definitely return when we come back to the area.

They are a good TexMex restaurant with fast service. You place your order at the counter and either eat in or take out. We picked up take out and enjoyed our meals. They had some healthy choices which appealed to us. I had fish tacos and my wife had a burrito.
