Tuesday night at 8 pm and the place was hopping. Waiters and busboys dashing about, kids scampering, babies wailing, crowds milling. Hectically busy, obviously a favorite for the locals. It made for an unsettling mealtime - the waiter spent mere seconds taking drink and dinner order, refilling glasses, dropping entree plates. Service was good, but it felt like we were getting rushed at every turn. My steak chimichanga was delicious. Guacamole and complimentary salsa quite tasty. Wife's enchilada was skimpy on the cheese, but taco was just fine. Food was not an issue, but the buzz and bustle was an real annoyance.

This is a newer restaurant in Boonville Missouri. I believe that previously it was a KFC and Long John Silvers. It has all your standard Mexican items. However, they appeared to be a little bit more expensive than their competition. That said, my order of a nacho salad did not taste that great, and took too long to be served. I was there about 1PM on a Saturday afternoon, and was the only customer they had. Doubt if I will ever stop there again...

Some days the beef tastes fresh and other days it tastes like it has soaked in grease over night. Sometimes you get a full serving and some times it's less than half a serving. Window servers are wonderful but the cooks don't pay attention to orders so who knows what you will get. The inside of the restaurant is always clean and all drink machines and condiments are always full.
