This is a neighborhood gem on Broadway in Nyack (a very interesting little town, by the way). The food is universally wonderful. Ingredients and cooking are truly excellent for a moderately priced establishment. The general manager, Mike, is usually around and is very friendly and helpful. Check this place out.

Opened 5/14/12, sister to MP Taverna in Roslyn
I originally had a not-so-great experience here, but having given it a few more times to redeem itself, it seems to have gotten itself together. We like the creativity that Chef Psilakis uses when putting his menu together. His meatballs appetizer, smothered in cracked olives is wonderful, as is the dips sampler. I love their lamb burger and their souvlaki kebabs are accompanied by delish smashed fries. I never had their desserts so I can't comment. Service can be slow, but I actually enjoy a slower paced meal than being rushed when I am eating out so I don't mind it. Their drinks, albeit pricey, are very well-executed.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this warm, friendly restaurant. We began with smoked eggplant ,roasted garlic and tomato which was absolutely delicious! The best eggplant dish I have ever had. We also enjoyed the arugula date salad. The dressing was very flavorful and the greens crisp and fresh. At the suggestion of the owner we had lamb chops and beef fillet for our main course. Both were delicious, nice blend of flavors, meats so tender you barely needed a knife! For dessert I had baklava and homemade saffron ice cream. Again the blending of flavors made it an exceptional choice. My husband had coconut cake and enjoyed it. They also have a great wine list. I am looking forward to my next visit to this very special restaurant.
