Reviews on Mediterranean food in Saint-Malo, Brittany, France. Saint-Malo, originally built as a walled citadel guarding the mouth of the Rance river, was for centuries home to feared pirates. They’ve all gone to Davy Jones’ Locker, though, and now it’s Brittany’s most-visited city. Walk the bustling streets of the reconstructed old city and the vast beaches, making sure to stop at the Grande Porte, Porte St-Vincent, the town’s castle with its Musée de la Ville and the Grand Aquarium.

Chez Arthur was welcoming and hospitable throughout our dining experience. We tasted a delectable range of Greek and Lebanese food that left us fully satisfied. Great for vegetarians and carnivores alike. We would return here next time we are in this lovely city.

We had lunch here on Easter Sunday following a recommendation from our hotel. This is a local Italian eatery owned and run by an Italian couple. On the menu are starters and pasta dishes plus desserts. As there were five of us the waiter suggested we ordered the set menu to avoid waiting too long for our dishes. Nonetheless we ended up spending more than three hours at the restaurant! This is because there was only one person serving tables. It was a shame as the owners are very friendly and proud of their restaurant.

Dominique invites Italy at your table. Family atmosphere, " you feel at home". Real simplicity, in a warm atmosphere. All the preparations are cooked in the morning with fresh products, chosen for their quality label, in the highest concern to satisfy his
We ate here at the end of August last year and I've been meaning to write a review ever since, as we had such a lovely meal. I was looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the Ibis Budget Saint Malo Centre where we were spending the last night of our holiday, and came across the review by LordLucan2010 recommending Casa Cosi (thank you LordLucan!). We arrived at the restaurant shortly after it opened for dinner and although they were clearly pretty much fully booked, they managed to squeeze us in. The service was fantastic - the waitresses were so friendly and smiley - and the starters and pizzas were all absolutely delicious. We really couldn't have asked for a better meal to finish our holiday and we will definitely be returning for our 'last night meal' this year. Highly recommend!
