Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Lafayette. Founded by the Acadians in the 19th century, the legacy of Louisiana's French, Spanish and Caribbean ancestors comes together in Lafayette, creating a city with, amongst other things, a vast selection of restaurants serving everything from spicy po'boys to crawfish etouffee. With its lively street festivals, impromptu Zydeco concerts, historic plantations and food markets where locals still order their plate lunches in Louisiana French, Lafayette is the heart of Cajun country.

The food was wonderful. Perfectly prepared, very tasty. Fabulous wait staff. It really would have been a great meal. Prior to being seated, we should have asked if peanut oil/peanuts were used on the premises, but we didn't. We were just not used to going to new restaurants. It was scary for a couple of hours. Moral of this story, don't eat in places that have foods you're allergic to. And, as most small, local restaurants, it wasn't posted anywhere. But it is our fault for not asking. Food can be cross contaminated, and the staff cannot guarantee that there will not be cross-contamination.

Turkish foods of all sorts including fabulous pastries. The owner is from Turkey and takes great pride in his restaurant and the quality of his food. It is reasonably priced and one dinner can easily feed two people. Enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend it.

Casual, Sophisticated, Delicious, Zeus is "the Place To Be" where you can delight your taste buds, enjoy healthy & fresh cuisine and treat yourself to a Greek and Lebanese culinary journey
We eat there probably once every other month. The best Greek and Lebanese in the area. Great feta salad and hummus! Chicken Schwarma is good too (although the Johnston express location has the best Schwarma). My favorite is the haloumi cheese. It comes in a fabulous seasoned oil. After to finish the cheese, you want to soak up the oily sauce with your pita bread! The last time we went the hummus tasted a little different but that has never happened before, we always love Zeus!!!
