Let me preface this with the following statement: I have traveled Europe extensively to include Italy and Greece.Alberto's is a family owned restaurant named after the owner. His daughter Kelly serves as hostess and server and has a fantastic personality. Alberto cooked at Greek restaurants in the New York area and is by far one of the most skilled cooks I have ever encountered. The food I had at Alberto's compared to, if not exceeded, anything I ate in Greece in Italy.I enjoyed the Pastitsio (Greek lasagna) which came with the soup of the day (Greek chicken and lemon), a fresh Greek salad with house made dressing, the main course of Greek lasagna, served with saffron rice and fresh vegetables. All of the food at this restaurant is made from scratch and this three course meal was offered at $12.99.I highly...HIGHLY...recommend this restaurant!!!

Hubby and I had gone to a downtown event and just happened to see this little place. I didnât even know Fayetteville had a Turkish restaurant. He ordered the Doner sandwich with fries. He said it was good but the meat was a bit dry. I ordered the pasta salad. It was unlike any I have ever had-bow tie pasta with a wonderful yogurt-dill sauce with pickles, red pepper, tomato. It was so fresh and cool. The pickles on top were so unusual, and I was told they were Turkish pickles. They were very tasty. We definitely want to go back and try something else.
