I’m not the absolute biggest fan of Lebanese food but had a craving for something different. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I had some falafel with tahini sauce which was quite delicious. Some falafel is pretty dry but this was not. I also had some pita bread with various cheeses which was great. The pita was herbed and nice and soft. I also had some sort of dessert, can’t recall the name. But it was phyllo dough based with some sort of orangy simple syrup. I didn’t have a real entree but I’m sure just about anyone can get a good meal here. The service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy although I believe they have a room to accommodate larger parties.

GREAT local owned restaurant! Wade and Ashley are wonderful!!!We have eaten here for dinner probably 5 times. Every meal has been wonderful!!! It's a small menu, but that way they can focus on each dish being delicious! Everything is FRESH and cooked to order. NOTHING is premade and frozen. They use local produce and meat. The desserts are made from scratch, so they vary each week. The Arancini appetizer is AMAZING!!My husband has had the Rack of Lamb every time, but one. It's obviously his favorite. He did try the special fish dish of the night, and he really liked it too.I've had the Chicken Marsala, Wild Mushroom Pasta, and the Pecan Arugula Salad. All of them are very tasty, but the Wild Mushroom is my favorite! We have had the chocolate cake, the peach cobbler, and the key lime tart. All very good. We have taken 3 different groups of friends to eat here. They all LOVED it, and want to go back. There is seating outside, in the main part of the restaurant, a little private room, and the wine bar. We have sat in all of them, except the wine bar. They also have live music in the alley some nights. This is our FAVORITE restaurant in Fairhope! There is only one thing I would change. The seating in the main part of the restaurant is a little too close. When customers get up, sometimes the chairs bump. We had 5 people at our table, and actually slid it over some, so the staff would stop bumping into it.

Unfortunately, the AC was not working. I ordered the Gyro, they forgot my order so I was the last to be served. it was warm, way too much sauce, very tough thick pita bread and tough meat. The greek fries were thick french fries, not bad, better than the gyro. I have eaten at other greek restaurants, Pensacola, FL and Arlington, VA that were excellent. We are truly sorry u had a bad lunch. We did not know that the Ac has stopped working yesterday morning. However upon opening our doors, we called the Ac repair company immediately to come fix the ac problem. Unfortunately, we don’t control their schedule. The server Miriah came up to you a couple of times and asked you if everything was ok. As Jon stated to the whole group, this is Authentic island Greek cuisine. It has not been Americanized.we are glad that you preffered the taste of the processed meet gyro in the other restaurants. That is something we don’t serve. We make it daily and yes it does have a different flavor. However if you did not enjoy it, we would have been more then happy to have made you something different.Yes the fries are ginormous. They are what 5star restaurant serve their guest.they are called STEAK FRIES. We decided to provide that type of cut to our guests. They are not your standard small fries. As far as your order being forgotten, we e apologize for that. It was a big party and when Miriah came back and asked about your order, it was in the process of being played. We had to wait on the fries. Now you spoke with Jon And he apologized for how u felt and what your experience was. The rest of your group seemed to have loved it and came up and thank the Chef as they were passing by and leaving on their own initiative and went out of their way to say how good their food was and the atmosphere. Again if there is anything we can do, let us know. It was unfortunate that you had this experience. [email protected]
